I have the free version and that has never happened to me. I agree with vansrme in that it might be a bug from ebay, or one of it's advertisers. But, I have never been asked to 'send a password' either. I just go to those sites as I normally did before I installed ZA.

In the newest version of ZoneAlarm, there is an "Ebay Password" option. This is in both the Free and the Pro version. During the initial installation of ZoneAlarm you can choose Yes or No to this option. Here is what the ZoneAlarm "Help" section says (in part) about it: Creating an eBay protection profile If you are an eBay user, protect your online profile by entering it into Zone Labs security software. Zone Labs security software protects your password by making sure it is only sent to authorized eBay destinations.
To enter your eBay password in ZoneAlarm and ZoneAlarm Plus:
Select Overview|Preferences.
In the eBay Protection Profile area, click Password.
the Edit eBay Password dialog appears.
Type your eBay password into the password and confirm fields, then click OK.
To enter your eBay password in ZoneAlarm Pro or ZoneAlarm Pro with Web Filtering:
Select ID Lock|myVAULT, then click Add.
The Add information to myVAULT dialog appears.
Type a description of the item, then select eBay password from the category drop-down list.
Type your eBay password into the password and confirm fields, then click OK.
Asterisks will appear in place of the data you entered and an encrypted form of your eBay password will be stored in myVAULT. The original information is not stored on your computer.
Specify whether you want the information to be protected when using Web and E-mail.
Click OK to save your changes.
For more information about the how Zone Labs security software keeps passwords and other personal data safe, see Protecting your data. To read more about this, open the ZoneAlarm Control Center and click on Help. Click the "Search" tab and then type in: ebay Then click "Display". I hope this helps! Dwight

Maybe you selected "No" to the option? Dwight
