Thanks , Mike , for your info . I installed the Ad-Aware and it went to work doing " something " to almost 100 things BUT ...

You guessed it - it did not fix the problem . It is still there ! Fortunately not obscene ( Ha Ha ), but annoying . What now ??? ( other than putting my foot through the monitor ! ) Thanks .

Hi
Post the name of the site that is appearing as your Homepage not the web address .Also look around and post anything that says "Powered by.." or similar Roll Eyes like the top frame of this window. (this is a good indicator as well to us) Smile
Then we can help you get rid?
Also what OS you Have, Windows 98,XP or what have you?

Nothing obcene ? RATS, That's no fun ! Roll Eyes

Try this:
When Ad-Aware finishes you should have a box listing all the stuff it found. "Right click" anywhere in that box then click "Select All".

Then click "Quarentine"; this will allow you to
restore every thing if another problem comes up.

Now try your computer a day or two & make
sure alls as it should be.

later you can come back & delete the quarentine file.

Also as the other Mike (bedstor) suggests,
pass along anything else you can think of.
