was your virus scan able to clean, quarantine, or delete it? Is your virus scan current - do you check for updates on a weekly basis?
I just looked for the virus you listed (I'm assuming you wrote it just as your virus scan listed it) at Symantec's library and can't find anything by that name.

I will check into it. The scan I did was called Bitdefender, it picked up this trojan, where Housecalls didn't. I haven't found anything free that will do the job. I just purchased Norton Internet Security 2002 at Best Buy for $70 with $50 in mail-in rebates (final cost $20 when I get around to mailing in my rebates); worth every penny! The personal firewall can be a bit tricky (and a royal pain in the keister) to work with unless you're totally into PC garbage. If that's the case, go for just the Antivirus like TomGL suggested (he knows way more than me).
Sometimes, free just don't cut it.

It works great. It detected two backdoor trojans in my computer. The one they had a removal tool for, the other one sounds very complicated to remove, have to get into the registry to do that, not sure I even know how to tackle that one. I put them in Quarantine for now. Need an expert to come over and get into the registry for me. Knowing me, I would have everything deleted lol. Maybe I don't have enough room to run this program very well. Any way I uninstalled it, now computer is running fine.
