Don't know if this was the cause of this flurry of activity?
Some info here..... Microsoft have NOT issued an update. It arrived just after the scheduled updates on Tuesday

The file is about 545k big and there are several different files for different set-ups

Thanks, Mike! I have Windows XP with Package 2 but then the choice is "affected or non-affected." Is "non-affected" a download for computers that appartently haven't gotten this worm yet? This sounds like a major bad one; it did damage to some big names like NBC today. Will I do any damage if I download "affected" and I haven't yet been affected? -- sorry for my lack of knowledge.

I've just learnt about another one and no fix nor details for this!
Can't they have a vacation? (The people who write these )What are they out to achieve?
Expect if there was no Internet,they'd be researching methods of defacing books!
