Used the Symantec "Security Check" , and it came up with 3 Virus....(windows\system\kernel32.exe) and (windows\system\kdll.dll) and c:\restore\temp\a0065681`1.cpy) all 3 infected...recommmed to delete the 3.... Well, all well in good , but how in the hell do I do it...Have tried, but to no avail...
I have McAfee...Ran a scan, and no virus'es showed up...I feel it let me down...Would appreciate some input as to do next....get rid of Macafee, and install Norton, or what ??? I tried Norton before, and seems it screwed up my system...I am a little confused....

Hi Don Rent: That discription fits the w32/badtrans.b@mm worm/virus?
Here's a LINK that discribes this rascal & how to be rid of it.
Best of luck Mike B. (aka Byter) ps Also, while you're there, be sure you get SP2 for Microsoft Internet explorer if you don't already have it installed.
