I have just reinstalled Windows (XP) and all the Spyware & Popup Software I was running before with no Problems My Aol Pop Up stopper is Working Yet...The Windows Messenger is churning up several XXX Popups per hour Apart from deleting this program (Easy!)what advice can you give to stop this?And why are they avoiding the Spyware and PopUp programs?

Go into the Control Panel/Administrator tools. Open "Services", then scroll down to Messenger and open it. Click the "Stop" button, then select the "Disabled" option to prevent it from restarting at startup.
This does not effect MSN Messenger.

And in case you're wondering it restored everything back to normality Good spot Dwight Have posted this thread on to an "outside" contact who has a similar prob.
