I have Norton Internet Security 2003, and I'm having two issues with it.
The first is that it keeps warning me that its going to expire. Its been doing this since I installed it. But it even says in the warning that it doesn't expire until May 05, now, since I just renewed it last month. When I try to turn those warnings off, it tells me I don't have system administrator priviledges, even though I am the system administrator and it says so when I open the program and look.
Second problem is with the intrusion alerts. When they pop up on the screen asking what I'd like to do ("allow" or "block"), there is a block to tick saying "always use this action". Even though I tick that block each time, it still pops up for the same thing (always "a remote computer is trying to access your system"). It is continual. I have done the thing where you can tell it how to deal with the same kinds of intrusions, but for some reason it deals with each one as a new kind just because it is coming from a different ISP.
I tried to call their support, but it is not only very expensive but they are no help. When I called about the system administrator thing, they just told me to get the system administrator to fix it. When I told them I was the adminstrator, they argued with me. I called again recently and they said I had to pay them $30 just to ask the question on how to fix it, or call Cali or someplace far away so I'd pay long distance AND $3.99 a minute, probably to be told again that they can't fix it, so I'm not going to bother.

Getting a different program is NOT an option right now so I really need info on this one. Please excuse the reposting but I had to change a few things in the question.
