When trying to install ad-aware from Lavasoft, I get the error message.
"AD-AWARE caused an exception eedfadeH in module at 0000:00000000."

One site I visited said to download and install the two .dll files (riched20.dll, riched32.dll) in the C:\Windows\System folder. I've done that, but have not seen any changes in the system (still getting the error.

Does anyone have any ideas what the problem may be?

Thanks in advance for any assistance that you can provide.

This program usually installs with no fuss Roll Eyes
Could be a conflict or misinstall?
Means a small bit of housekeeping work ..easy
1) Uninstall the Adaware program
2)Download and run Crapcleaner from www.ccleaner.com with both the Cleaner and Issues icons in the left hand column (will find an awful lot of old stuff to delete!)

TIP: keep the history & cookies boxes unticked before doing anything otherwise everything slows up and you'll have to log on everywhere again Red Face
Tip 2 Doing a Defrag after running this program will be a lot shorter to do WinkComputer gets a speed up in the processing area as well Wink
3)Reinstall Ad-Aware
4) Is the error message still coming up? Roll Eyes
