cattywampus0 Diamond Enthusiast	Posted I'm trying to hook up to a music download peer group but got this error message: "Outgoing TCP connections use proxy settings." What does this mean? What are proxy setings anyway, and how can I get rid of them? They're always in my way!

Posted Hide Post Proxy Settings are values that must be added to access a server. You would get this code from the provider. You can enter this value in the Control Panel / Internet Options / Connections / Lan Setting Check the automatic script and type in the code that the provider gives you. See this picture If you don't have a code, give the site address and we can look it over and see what the requirements are. Dwight
