This I found yesterday and it was confirmed by a Moderator on the forum I posted to Mad
"Cure" Set the time to 00:00 AM and it "fixes" the issue until MS issue a fix Roll Eyes

For 2 consecutive days I have had to manually run the Scan on the Microsoft Antispyware Program because it did not start at its scheduled time of 23:30 .Only time I usually run it manually is if I am offline at that time OK?
But these 2 days I'm online and the scan should start at 11:30 PM prompt and the AVG update prompt comes at 11:40 (also scheduled)
But all I saw was the AVG Update and no Notification that the Microsoft Antispyware Program had started or finished. Frown Flashes a summary box up regardless of Finding a problem or not (only had 1 item in 3 months)
Puzzling. Confused
Had a look at the schedule looked OK... Until I saw it had been set to 11:30 AM Not touched the controls in months! Reset it to the Old time pressed the "Update Schedule" button and the display reverted to the earlier time Did this several times same result
Set it earlier same thing But the only time I got it to "Hold" on was 12 Midnight (0:00am) Don't ask why?
All my A/V and Spyware detectors are reporting nothing (all quarantined items were deleted ages ago) This has the Feeling of a trojan attack of some sort?
Anybody else see anything like this? Roll Eyes

And the reply I got
quote:
Your note prompted me to check what mine was doing. I've got a similar problem in that it hasn't done an automated scan since July and I've just tried to change the time from 0200 to 1800. As soon as I click Update Schedule it goes back to 0600. Seems it can't handle the 24 hour clock. Must have been the last software update that changed things.

Hello,
yes it is a bug, workaround if your outside the USA:
Go to start/Control Panel/Country settings
Change Language to US English.
Click on Apply
Open MSAS change all your time settings the way you wont.
Click on "Update Schedule"
Then go back to set your default Language.
MSAS will scan and update on the right time!
Don't Click "Update Schedule", anymore, then it go's back to the AM
times again!

I did this and MS Antispyware flashed up a warning message that the CTF loader had changed (whatever that is?) May be ok to run at the old time again?
