While randomly surfing, I was semi-looking for the site of local band Victim, since the link I was given (www.victimsound.com) sure doesn't appear to be correct. So, I tried victim.com, which wasn't it, either, but what was there intrigued me, so i did a Google search for "victim.com"--and I just had to click on the second link Google came up with--Eek--immediately Norton popped up saying they detected a Trojan Horse on my computer and they blocked access to whatever it was trying to do. So, I immediately left that site, but what have I done?

Okay, so short version: I did a Norton full system scan and it didn't find anything, but I'm still concerned, since I got some "security alerts" from Norton afterwards that seemed to indicate Trojan Horse-esque activity, which was/is blocked. (I'm assuming victim.com is some sort of hacker resource of some type, but I obviously have no idea.) Should I be concerned? Is there anything else to do? (Besides not letting my curiosity get the better of me in the future, of course!)

Howdy:

If you got the alert, then Norton did its job.. It;s when you don't get anything that you have to worry.. Check your quantine file and see if they put it in there.. If it is, just delete it !!
