Hi! Smile My brother is visiting for a while, and he seems to think he can download whatever he likes to on my computer. When I find it, I uninstall it. Recently, he downloaded "Bargain Buddy" and "n-CASE". I don't know what either of these things are. "Bargain Buddy" is not liked by me, because I tried to uninstall it the other day, and it wouldn't get out of the Recycle Bin. It said it couldn't do it and then made the internet not work until I restarted the computer. Eek So, I left it alone. It doesn't appear to be on the computer anymore, so maybe I did get it off. Big Grin However, the "n-CASE" thing. I see 2 things in the "Add/Remove Programs" thing, and those are: "interstitial ad delivery by n-CASE" and "PAD Lookups by n-CASE". Now, I think "Bargain Buddy" isn't a problem anymore...I just want to know what it is. So far, "n-CASE" hasn't been a problem, but, it's annoying because I don't know what it is.
Also, when my brother thinks he needs to download something that the computer doesn't need (which is about everything he downloads), it makes the computer run slower and all that.
Anyway, if anyone can tell me what "Bargain Buddy" and "n-CASE" are, I would sure appreciate it! Smile

Thank you, Cswchan. Smile What is my brother thinking? These things have to go. I've been wondering why I've been getting a lot of pop-ups, where as before my brother came, I hardly had any. Now I know why. Thanks, again.

I just wanted to say that I tried the uninstallers, and they worked! No more n-CASE stuff (as far as I know), and guess what...no more of those ads that came up! Big Grin
As for the Bargain Buddy...I'm pretty sure I removed that the other day, but the folder was still on the computer. It had nothing in it, so I just deleted the folder. Smile

I found ncase on my system today. I have spyware blaster on my comp. It has been recommended by people on this site but it missed ncase even though it is listed. I don't adaware every day as I should but it banged ncase right out. I may have to go back to spybot.
There is some ncase under msbb.exe and fleok. They cannot be removed. Any idea what they are?

Try this It will not harm your computer (15 day trial)
It is a small program which seeks out "dead end" files especially those that remain after deletion and seem to always be "in your face" Confused
Will only take just under 3 minutes to download Smile

System Cleaner 4.93c
License: Shareware
Price: $29.95 to buy
Expires after 15 days
Long enough for you to do the clean up? Smile
