I recently started having problems w/ my shortcuts. As in the last hour or so. I clicked on my shortcut for AOL to check my mail and it says...
Error Starting Program The MSVCP60.DLL file is linked to missing export MSVRCT.DLL_lc_collate_cp.

I have no clue. I tried running Norton Anti Virus but this error came up... Norton Integrator could not initialize the current frame class. Please make sure that you did not directly run the integrator.
Does anyone know what that is/means? I don't know what too do. Thanx, Heather.

I suspect the "missing export" is actually MSVCRT.DLL.

For Windows 2000, extract a new copy of the MSVCP60.DLL file from the Support.CAB file in the Support\Tools folder.

For Windows ME, extract new copies of the MSVCP60.DLL and MSVCRT.DLL files from the Win_13.CAB file on the Windows CD, or in the Windows\Options\Install folder.

MSVCP60.DLL is also included with Windows Media Player 7.x, so reinstalling the program may resolve the problem. This appears to be the only option under Windows 98.

For Windows 95/98/NT4/2000, also install this Library Update.

This will hopefully resolve the problem. The Norton Antivirus error might be unrelated, however, and you may need to reinstall that program.

In future, Heather, always mention the versions of Windows and Internet Explorer which you're running, as well as the version of any program which is associated with an error.
