Anyone please tell me how I can get rid of this.
I've run my AVG twice today, however, when I leave the system alone and return say ten minutes laters, after AVG found no viruses - there is the window telling me about this one!

It's happened 3 times so far. Earlier on viruses were found and either healed or put into the virus vault - not this one!

Also, if I may, if anyone knows a good and reliable, will not interfere with other things in my computer proggy for getting rid of popups I'd be eternally grateful.

Thanks a lot folks.

Try downloading AdAware (www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware)or CWS-shredder( www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html ) to change your settings back to normal. After removing all traces, then download SpywareBlaster (www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html) and update every month, will keep these from being installed.

Well here I go again with yet another problem it seems.

On my screen often in the past two days has appeared a window showing an exclamation mark and saying.....

"CnxDsItb unsupported operation was attempted."

The only way I can get this off the screen is to do a restart - nothing else will work.

This shows my lack of knowledge I know, though learn more each day - I'm puzzled by this and only found one hit on the net about it - any notions.
I suspect this is coinciding with the Trojan somehow - but I could be wrong - driving me nuts.

The source of this error message is in your modem driver
Only this item on Google (from another forum)
Number 11 on the list is the culprit Frown
The remedy is to uninstall your modem and modem drivers (check location in Control Panel> Phones and Modem options may be able to remove from here? Otherwise check the Add /Remove Programs folder
Before you do this Post again the Modems Brand name and model number and we can locate a driver for you to reload the software for the modem unless You still have the original driver CD? Roll Eyes Don't delete anything before you recieve the OK from us otherwise things can get awkward Red Face

Well everything is now working satisfactorily.
I thought I would post here the following link.

http://www.faqfarm.com/Computer/Virus/Downloader/16503

Reason being, if you look at it, self explanatory.

Let me say that I have all the spyblasters etc, anti virus etc - but to be honest the thing which worked was the above link - I am very pleased to pass this on to anyone who has a problem with the above Trojan now are hey - maybe next week.

Thanks to everyone once again for the help.
