Oh I am watching alright. I will be watching the Yankees – Indians live game from Yankee Stadium tonight . A friend of mine called with an extra ticket. Postseason baseball and the chance to see it in person, how could I say no? I’ll be the guy in the Mets cap . The Yankees have shown up. All they have to do now is beat Cleveland two more in a row to face off against Boston for the American League crown. Hard yes, but the Yankees have already beaten the Tribe two games in a row twice this season so it is far from impossible. How about them Rockies! Winning 17 of their last 18 games is amazing . The only thing that could possibly slow them down is the four days in-between games. When you are red hot and steamrolling the last thing you want is four days off in a row. All that does is give them the chance to cool off. A big thumbs up to the Diamondbacks. Granted I was hoping the Cubbies would go deep into the World Series, the D-Backs put them out of their misery early.

I've been watching, except for Yankee games; I have problems with teams who win all the time and I must admit it doesn't break my heart any to see them out of the playoffs. I usually boycott Yankee games because I'm tired of seeing them in the post-season, the same way I did the Braves when they were making 14 straight playoff appearances. Nothing at all against your Diamondbacks, Dogspit, but I'd kind of like to see a Rockies-Indians World Series. I tend toward teams that haven't won in the past, and this matchup would guarantee that one team that hasn't won a Series in my lifetime will win. As for my team, the Mariners: losing 14 of 16 right at crunch time doesn't exactly help your team into the playoffs. And one last thing: Dear George Steinbrenner and Brian Cashman: I suggest you look back at the rosters of your teams from 1996 through 2000. You might learn how to put a team together that way.

I agree, I hate those towels . I also agree about the way The Tribe is manhandling the Red Sox, fun to watch . Way to go Manny, admiring a solo blast when your team is down by several runs. Hell of a hitter, but an ass of a person . Where is Bob Gibson when you need him? If Manny pulled a stunt like that on him he would buzz him so high & tight Manny would have one less dreadlock to worry about. If that didn’t work the next pitch would be in his ear . GO TRIBE!!!
