Around this time of year, baking is a wonderful pasttime (at least for me, it is). Some recipes have been handed down, others are just tradition. My favorite part is the desserts. Mmm...my Mom's Thanksgiving Strawberry Cream can't be beat. What's your favorite? Please include the recipe!
Thanksgiving Strawberry Cream 2 1/2 Cups Crushed Pretzels 2 Tb. sugar 1 Cup Margarine 1 large tub cool whip 8 oz. cream cheese 2 sm. pkg. Strawberry jello 2 pkg. foz. strawberries
Melt margarine and pour over crushed pretzels. Add 2 tablespoons sugar and stir well. Spread and press into a 9X13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 10 min. Cool.
Combine cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. Fold in large tub cool whip until mixture is smooth. Pour over pretzels.
Mix 2 small pkg. strawberry jello in 2 cups hot water to dissolve. Add strawberries. Pour over cream cheese mixture and refrigerate.
