CRUST: 1 13 oz pkg of pretzels 3 tbsp sugar 1/2 cup butter/marg. Crush pretzels very fine in blender or in bag with hammer, put in bowl, add sugar and melted butter, mix, press 1/2 of mixture in 9 inch pie plate and bake at 350 for 8-10 min.
FILLING:
2/3 cup sugar 4 tbsp corn starch 2&1/2 cup milk 3 1oz. squares of chocolate (cut in small pieces) 3 egg yolk slightly beaten 1 tsp vanilla extract Combine sugar, corn starch, milk, and chocolate in double boiler, cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Cover and cook for 15 more minutes. Let cool slightly and add part of chocolate mixture to beaten egg yolks, stir and then add this to the rest of the chocolate, add vanilla, stir, cool a bit more and pour this into crust, sprinkle with rest of pretzel mix and chill for at least 4 hours. Cut and serve!!!!
