Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

2 cups pumpkin
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 cups flour
1 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients together.
Drop on greased baking pan by tablespoons
bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes
cool
make "sandwiches" with 2 cookies and butter cream frosting (see below)

Butter Cream Frosting

¼cup cold water
1 lb. 8 oz. powdered sugar
2½ oz Milk powder (optional)
5 oz. margerine
Vanilla and Cinnamon to taste

Mix above ingredients together for 30 seconds to 1 minute with elec. mixer.

Add:
10 oz. additional cold margerine

Mix till light and fluffy (about 10 minutes
