Combine pudding mix, milk, and 4 TBSP liqueur in a medium bowl. stirring with a wisk until smooth. Gently fold 1 cup cool whip into mixture.
Toss banana slices with remaining 1 TBSP liqueur, and arrange over crust. Sprinkle with half of the chopped candy. Spoon pudding mixture over chopped candy. Cover and chill 1½ hours or until set. Spoon remaining cool whip on top of pie just before serving. Sprinkle with remaining chopped candy. ++++++++++++++++++++++++ 02-04-04, 08:06 PM Kelleygirl Sandy, I am not a baker and would like to know---- this sounds really great except my husband and myself do not like the taste of coffee. Do you think that this would work without the coffee liquer? Could you substitute chocolate instead? What do you think?
02-05-04, 06:58 AM Sandy That's a great idea Kellygirl. Chocolate goes great with bananas anyway. As you can note in my recipe, the liqueuris optional. Not using it would also make this recipe very kid friendly. I never thought about adding chocolate, thanks for the idea!
