Here are several Dan! Hope you find one you like!

Fried Ice Cream

1/2 gal. good Vanilla ice cream

6 oz. slivered almonds, ground

4 eggs, beaten

1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs

whipped cream

Place 10 scoops ice cream on a cookie sheet, freeze overnight until firm.

Next morning, take one ice cream ball at a time from freezer, roll in ground almonds, coating well. Dip in beaten egg, then dredge in cracker crumbs, making sure ice cream is thoroughly coated. Place on cookie sheet in freezer, freeze until firm.

Just before serving, heat deep oil to 375° F. Fry ice cream balls for 20-30 seconds or until golden brown. (Time depends on size.) Drain on paper towels, serve immediately with sauce of choice, hot fudge, hot caramel or butterscotch sauce.

Deep Fried Ice Cream

20 oz. ice cream, flavor optional

2 cups crushed corn flakes

3 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

1 1/2 TBS. sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp water

Oil

Chocolate Sauce

Whipped Cream

Form ice cream into 4 balls and place on a plate. Freeze for three or more hours until solid. Mix the cereal, cinnamon, and sugar together and divide into two separate bowls big enough to roll the ice cream balls in.

Beat the water with the eggs.

Roll each ball in the cereal mixture and and press into the ice cream. Dip each coated ice cream ball into the egg mixture and roll again in the second cereal bowl mixture and again firmly press into the ice cream. Freeze the balls for at least six hours.

Heat the oil in a deep pot or deep fryer and deep fry the coated ice cream balls 40-50 seconds. Remove with a flat wok spoon. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and top with whipped cream.

Deep-Fried Ice Cream
Ingredients

# 1 quart vanilla ice cream
# 2 cups corn flake crumbs
# 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
# 2 cups brown sugar
# 3 cups vegetable oil
# Honey
# Whipping cream
# Cherries

Directions

1. Mix cinnamon and brown sugar together and place in bowl.

2. Place corn flake crumbs in separate bowl.

3. Heat vegetable oil in saucepan to about 325° or the oil "crackles" when a dash of water is added to it.

4. Form ice cream into three-inch balls. Add balls first to brown sugar/cinnamon mixture, coating well, then to corn flake crumb mixture again coating well.

5. Drop ice cream into heated oil for about five seconds.

6. Quickly put deep-fried ice cream in a glass and top with honey, whipping cream, and cherries.

Caution - hot oil is being used. Always be careful when cooking with hot oil.

Fried Ice Cream
Ingredients

Ice cream
Sponge cake
Oil to deep fry.

For batter
Self raising flour (Maida)
Egg & Milk

Garnish
Mango slices(With mango ice cream)
Other fruits depending upon the ice cream used

Method

1. Make balls of Ice cream (make sure that Ice cream is hard frozen
2. Wrap each ball in thick sponge cake tightly & freeze these balls.
3. Deep fry hard frozen balls just until the batter is solid
4. Serve immediately on a platter of fruit slices.

Fried Ice Cream

1 quart vanilla, strawberry, or other flavor ice cream

1 egg

1/2 teaspoon pure Mexican vanilla extract

1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon each ground cinnamon and grated nutmeg

Preparation
Slice ice cream into 8 equal portions with a hot knife. If ice cream is frozen too solid, soften slightly before slicing. (Or you may soften ice cream and form into balls.) Freeze ice cream slices until firm.

Beat egg in a shallow bowl; add vanilla. Combine crumbs and sugars in a shallow bowl. Dip each ice cream slice into the egg mixture. Roll in the crumb mixture. Dip again in egg mixture, then again into crumbs. Freeze ice cream until solid, dipping again into crumbs if not well coated. Ice cream must be frozen hard before frying.

Heat oil in a deep-fat fryer to 350F (175C). Place each slice in the oil 2 seconds or until slightly golden, remove immediately and serve.

Fried Ice Cream

Ingredients
2 cups rice/corn square cereal combination, crushed
2 tsp cinnamon
6 scoops (1/2 cup each) nonfat frozen vanilla yogurt or ice milk
Sugar
Honey or chocolate sauce, as desired

Cooking Directions
Place cereal in shallow pan and mix with cinnamon. Quickly roll 1 scoop of frozen yogurt at a time in cereal mixture to coat. Place coated scoops on cookie sheet. Sprinkle generously with sugar. Cover and freeze until firm, about 2 hours or more.

Set oven control to broil. Uncover pan. Broil scoops with tops 6 inches from heat for about 30 seconds or until coating begins to lightly brown.

Serve immediately. Top, if desired, with honey or chocolate sauce.

DEEP FRIED ICE CREAM

Use ice cream of any flavor you like. Scoop and roll the ice cream into a ball, about the size of a tennis ball. Prepare some white bread with the sides trimmed off and wrap them around the ice cream ball. Roll the ball in some beaten eggs and then in some bread crumbs. Freeze until ready to be served. When frying the ice cream, use medium to hot oil and fry it until golden brown. The frying must be done as quickly as possible before the ice cream melts.

An interesting variation on this would be using any of the flavored Kiddie cereals (crumbled) instead of the bread crumbs.

2 eggs -- divided, beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla -- divided
2 1/2 cups sweetened cornflakes -- crushed
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Cooking oil -- for deep fat frying

Place 4 scoops (about 1/2 cup each) of ice cream in seperate plastic bags.
Freeze for 1 hour or until very firm.

In a small mixing bowl stir together 1 egg and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla. In a
shallow bowl carefully stir together cornflakes and cinnamon. Dip each
frozen ice cream ball into the egg mixture then roll it in cereal mixture.
Return coated ice cream balls to the freezer, for one hour, or until
firm. Reserve reamining cereal mixture.

In a small mixing bowl stir together the remaining egg, and vanilla.
Remove coated ice cream balls from the freezer. Dip ice cream balls into
egg mixture, again, and then roll them in the remaining cereal mixture.
Cover and freeze for several hours or until firm.

In a deep fat fryer or heavy saucepan, fry frozen coated ice cream balls,
1 or 2 at a time, in deep hot oil (375 degrees) for 15 seconds, or until
golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Serve with melted chocolate, honey, plain or with fried white tortillas
dipped in cinnamon sugar.
