Place in baking dish 4 cups sliced apples. Sprinkle 1 cup sugar over apples. Add 1 package dry strawberry Jello, then pour 1 cup water over all. Sprinkle 1 package Jiffy white cake mix over all. Drizzle ½ cup melted butter over entire mix. Bake about 35 minutes at 350°. If desired, serve with half-and-half, whipped cream or cool whip.
