I think this is going to be an interesting one. Eisenhower was considered by both parties, and may have been asked by the Democrats to run. Taylor had never even voted until he was nominated. Both of the above could be considered to have no real party affliation. Washington was certainly not a member of any party when first elected, but was a Federalist for his second. Someone else decide this one.

Well, according to the records, Washington hated all political parties and refused to be party (if you'll excuse the pun) to any of them and belonged to no parties.
