What person has the most statues rendered of them in the United States? ++++++++ 06-29-03, 12:02 AM MilesWest Sacagawea the woman of the Shoshoni Nation who acted as Lewis & Clark's guide.
06-29-03, 12:35 AM Sherasi You are correct
06-29-03, 01:58 AM DorianGreyed Do either of you have a source for this?
07-01-03, 08:46 PM MilesWest Sacagawea has more statues in her honor than any other woman in America.
07-01-03, 10:17 PM DorianGreyed That site certainly say the there are more statues of Sacagawea than any other woman in America. It even gives the number, 23. However, I have personally seen 11 statues of the same woman within 100 miles of my home. I assume that most Roman Catholic churches have a statue of Mary in them. I also assume that there are more than 23 statues of Mary in the US. The question does not preclude her statues.
07-02-03, 01:23 AM Sherasi I guess I was not specific enough...
consider this question null and void.....
Frown ------------------- Much later - I don't know if the various statue-like representations of Christ actually qualify as statues, but if they do, surely He is the answer to the original question. - DG
