Sacagawea has more statues in her honor than any other woman in America.

That site certainly say the there are more statues of Sacagawea than any other woman in America. It even gives the number, 23. However, I have personally seen 11 statues of the same woman within 100 miles of my home. I assume that most Roman Catholic churches have a statue of Mary in them. I also assume that there are more than 23 statues of Mary in the US. The question does not preclude her statues.

I guess I was not specific enough...

consider this question null and void.....

Much later - I don't know if the various statue-like representations of Christ actually qualify as statues, but if they do, surely He is the answer to the original question. - DG
