Right up my alley DG hehehe.........that would be garlic
Roman and Greek warriors ate garlic to give them strength and courage, and it was an important part of the stores of military triremes. In Ancient Greece athletes chewed garlic before the Olympic games to give them vitality and endurance (and lovers ate it to give them endurance of another kind).
That's it, Renee! I don't know about the garlic, but a few drops of olive oil on the back of your neck helps immensely when wrestling. As soon as your opponent ties up with you, his hand gets the oil on it, not enough to be seen, but enough to ruin his grip. (And it was always his strong side that went to the back of the neck.)
