Can you name a King of England and a King of France suspected to be homosexuals?

I would imagine it was Richard I of England and Phillip II of France. But I prefer the story of Edward II King of England and his suspected mate Piers Gaveston. You know how he was killed don't ya? Talk about poetic justice...

I think I am a little confused about your question...I thought you were asking abt a couple that inluded an English King and his partner a French King....So Richard the Lionhearted and Phillip...And I found a reference for you:

Richard and King Philip "ate from the same dish and at night slept in one bed" and had a "passionate love between them", which some historians have taken to imply homosexual intimacy.

Sorry about that "couple" thing I guess I wasn't clear.

Interesting Georgia , and of course your answer fits the question. Thanx.
The other one that I found was Louis XIII There is no evidence as to whether or not Louis had lovers, but persistent rumours insinuated that the King may have been homosexual or bisexual

There were many others, some of which were on the English throne, some on the French, and even more scattered throughout history.

Note that the first 5 were Macedonian. ( Eek ) Well, you know what they say. "When in Greece,..."

Thanks, Mozart, and thanks for both phrasing your question that way and for accepting a right answer that wasn't the one you had.
