#1 John Tyler had 15 children, and it appears 14 of them lived to maturity.

#3 On March 9, 1820, Maria Hester Monroe to Samuel Lawrence Gouverneur

I will leave the rest for someone else, or for a later date, as I hate to run trivia out of open Q's !

George Washington *, James Buchanan, Andrew Jackson *, James K. Polk, James Madison .

* = adopted children.

Note: Warren Harding had no legitimate children. He had a child by his mistress Nan Britton.

So if we elimate adopted children we are left with James Buchanan , James K. Polk , James Madison . (3 James....hum! )

Tyler, who was born during Washington's administration, had a daughter born just before Lincoln's administration, in 1860. That daughter, Pearl, died during Truman's administration. I believe one of Tyler's grandchildren is still not only alive, but active and in good health. I find that amazing, and telling of just how young the US is, that three generations of one family cover the time periods of all US presidents.

From various pages of Wikipedia -

In all, Tyler had fifteen children, eight with his first wife Letitia and seven with his second wife Julia. His last surviving child, Pearl Tyler, who was also his last child born, died on June 30, 1947, one hundred years, one week and six days after the death of his first child, Mary Tyler.

* By Letitia Christian Tyler:

Mary Tyler (1815-47); Robert Tyler (1816-77); John Tyler (1819-96); Letitia Tyler (1821-1907); Elizabeth Tyler (1823-50); Anne Contesse Tyler (1825); Alice Tyler (1827-54); Tazewell Tyler (1830-74)

* By Julia Gardiner Tyler:

David Gardiner Tyler (1846-1927); John Alexander Tyler (1848-83); Julia Gardiner Tyler (1849-71); Lachlan Tyler (1851-1902); Lyon Gardiner Tyler (1853-1935); Robert Fitzwalter Tyler (1856-1927); Pearl Tyler (1860-1947)

John Dunjee claimed to be the illegitimate son of John Tyler, a child of Tyler and one of his female slaves. There was also a mulatto woman who frequently traveled with the Tyler family who was alleged to be the president's daughter.
----
Lyon Gardiner Tyler (August 24, 1853 – February 12, 1935) was a U.S. educator and historian. He was the son of President John Tyler and First Lady Julia Gardiner Tyler, born at Sherwood Forest Plantation. He graduated in 1875 at the University of Virginia. From 1888 to 1919, he served as the seventeenth president of the College of William and Mary (W&M), and is widely credited for restoring the college's financial condition following the deterioration which took place in the wake of the American Civil War. He was married twice, first to the former Anne Baker Tucker, with whom he had three children, John Tyler, Elizabeth Gilmour Tyler, and Julia Gardiner Tyler. Following Anne's death in 1921, he married the former Sue Ruffin, with whom he had three children, Lyon Gardiner Tyler Jr., Harrison Ruffin Tyler, the current owner of the Sherwood Forest Plantation, and Henry Tyler, who died in infancy. [1]
----
Sherwood Forest Plantation is located on the north bank of the James River in Charles City County, Virginia. It is located on State Route 5, a scenic byway which runs between the independent cities of Richmond and Williamsburg. The house is located approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) from the river.

Sherwood Forest has the distinction of being the only private residence in the United States to have been owned by two unrelated United States Presidents. William Henry Harrison inherited the plantation, then named Walnut Grove, in 1790 and held it for three years. He sold the 3,000 acre (12 km²) property in 1793 having never lived in the house. Harrison's successor John Tyler purchased the plantation, which by then had been reduced to 1,600 acres (6.5 km²), in 1842 and lived there after leaving the White House.

The house has been in the Tyler family since it was purchased by president Tyler in 1842. The house is currently owned by Harrison Ruffin Tyler, President Tyler's grandson, and the son of Lyon Gardiner Tyler. It is open to the public for tours.

Tyler's breeding prowess was recently a Jeopardy clue (which I guessed correctly... one of those factoids I can never make myself completely remember).
