Happy birthday France. When the Bastille was stormed by the Parisians,how many jail birds were there in the prison?

It was a small number, very small. For some reason, I seem to remember that it was 6 prisiners.

At least one was insane and at least one a debtor. In fact there may have been no 'political' prisoners in there at the time, but. like so many events in history, the storming had a symbolic and marketable image.
