Louis Philippe I, a descendant of the Royal House of Bourbon, was the last King of France. He ruled from 1830 - 1848.

While not a king, Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte was the last monarch to rule France, as Napoléon III Emperor of the French (Charles Louis Napoléon Bonaparte) (20 April 1808 – 9 January 1873) from 1852 to 1870.
