There are 50 stars on the US flag and it started with 13 stars. But some numbers of stars never appeared on the US flag for some reasons, can you name those numbers?

Well I know it went from 13 to 15 (skipped 14) because 2 states were added - Kentucky and Vermont. And then it stayed a 15 star flag until 5 more states were added - allowing for 20 stars. From 20 one star for each state was added until 38. 5 stars were then added for Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Washington making it 43 stars. Then again, 1 star for each state until 46 at which point 2 more were added for Arizona and New Mexico.
There is a specs sheet out there for the placement of stars and I believe the current specs allow for 51 stars.
