This discovery provided evidence that pirates were not as vicious and unlawful as once supposed and actually lived more democratically than many they preyed upon. Name the ship that was discovered. ++++++++++++. 07-22-03, 05:49 PM DorianGreyed The Good Ship Lollipop?

07-24-03, 07:48 AM Sailracer How about the "Whydah"?
07-24-03, 07:57 AM Kwll You got it SR. The Whydah provided evidence that pirate ships may have been more democratic than many of those that they plundered. The Whydah had elections for Captain and rules that the Captain had to abide by concerning the crew. It even contained a rudimentary form of workman's compensation with payment given for loss of a limb.
