Since there has been a few days pass, I will guess the Netherlands. The timing is about right for Spain's loss of Holland as one of its posessions. I think Holland was mainly Lutheran by this time, which would not have made Catholic Spain happy at all.

That's the answer I wanted DG Seems like the Spanish were the equivalent(at that time) of what the US and the UK do nowadays to anyone who doesn't agree with their "way of working"
