The US Sherman tank was produced in prodigious numbers during the 2nd World War and is largely credited in modern times as being a formidable weapon. However, tank crews who actually used them had a couple of more derogatory nicknames for them, what were 2 of those nicknames?
I believe "Devil's Oven", "Deathtraps" and "Firetraps" are probably among the names, and the Germans referred to them as "Ronsons" because they lit up and burned so quickly

I knew that was an easy one for you history buffs. All excellent answers. The reason the tanks were called this is because they tended to ignite upon shell impact, mostly as a result of burning gasoline and not diesel as did their opponents.
