I recently tried the Glory Foods brand of canned creamed peas. They were so good and my husband said that his grandmother used to make something similar. Now, my grocery store has stopped stocking them, and I cannot seem to find a recipe anywhere. Can anyone help me?

If you want to take it a notch more, dice up 2-3 strips of bacon, fry crisp, and use the bacon grease rather than margerine...My grandmother also use to add some tiny pearl onions...Now that, is a REAL southern recipe from Texas....
