I wasn't sure where to put this. It's not really a veggie, but it is a good side, especially for the upcoming holiday!
I tried this recipe out from one of Emeril's fabulous recipes! Enjoy!
Cranberry Sauce
2 cups cranberries juice & chopped zest of 1 orange 1/4 cup Port 1/2 cup sugar, or more if needed 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tbs cornstarch
Combine cranberries, juice and zest, port sugar, and cinnamon in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to simmer and cook until cranberries are tender, stirring occasionally. In a sall cup, make a slurry with cornstarch and 1 tbs water. Whisk cornstarch into cranberry sauce and cook, whisking until sauce thickens. Taste for more sugar if necessary.
