I think that once again Lawyers have found a Bandwagon to hitch to and ride that financial train to line their pockets.

Oh I believe there is definately some truth to this. We all know of one person who tried to get off this and had withdrawals the same as getting off a major controlled substance. She was violent, suicidal, and in pain.

I'm not a big propenent on these sort of drugs in the first place and have always felt they cause more harm than good. So I am glad consumers have an opportunity to get restitution for pain and suffering. Just my opinion.

I've heard so much being said against Paxil so it's probably true about all the negative effects. However, I don't believe in lawyers making advertisements about certain products/diseases. People should decide for themselves if they want to sue, and not be persuaded by someone else.

That's a rather disturbing artical. There are millions of people on this drug for depression (or for whatever reason their doctor has prescribed it).

Every 'drug' has its own side effect. Stoping any suddenly is almost always going against doctors advice...so, is it just more lawyers trying to make money, or is it legit? Confused

I was on Paxil and stopped it all at once. It really got to me. I was so depressed and had most of the above symptoms.I was never told that this could happen when they placed me on it . Its a very strong drug.

But I thought any responsible doctor would taper you off of any drug, be it antidepressants, sedatives, or BP meds. Confused
