Ok...As most of you know I am 6 and a half months pregnant...and that could be a part of it but....

It seems like if the smallest little thing happens, I just lose it and start crying uncontollably...The other day we were trying to put the crib together and I couldnt do it alone...and I jus started crying..I cried for like an hour and even my mom couldnt stop me from crying....I am just a big mess....

I have so many emotions running all of the place, and it is overwhelming...It makes me feel crazy...

I dunno how to deal with it...Frown

There is nothing "wrong" with you, nothing at all...you are in an overwhelming situation and, please don't hit me, your hormones are in hurricane mode. As exciting as the prospect of parenthood is, it scares the socks off people much older than you, and leaves even the calmest and best prepared of women looking like over-emotional basket cases....What you have described is NORMAL! This probably won't make you feel any better, but you will feel like you're losing it pretty often from now until she starts sleeping through the night...again, nothing wrong with you, this is all perfectly normal. As for the crib adventure, the phrase "some assembly required" actually means "If no one in the house has an engineering degree, there will be tears, a domestic dispute or a call to the emergency room before this item is useable"...Count yourself lucky that it was just tears.

Well we finally got the stupid thing together but still...

I am glad that all of this is normal...It is very uncontrollable...I can tell myself later that it was stupid, but at the time it feels like I should be crying...

PS.
My mom got to feel and see the baby kick last night...that was a great moment...Smile

That's beautiful , MrsS! Big Grin

Megan - MrsS is right - your hormonal upheavals are perfectly normal !
I got pregnant with my son right after I got married and moved to another state, so I couldn't tell hormones from emotions.
But when I was pregnant with my daughter...Well!
I gave "emotional" a whole new meaning !
Before she was born, I realized that I was in no shape to make even the slightest decision, even about her name! So I decided that anything important would just have to be decided after my hormones had settled back down. (But have they ever? Wink)

Anyway - don't feel that there is anything wrong with you. You're doing just what you're supposed to do! Wink
And if you need a good laugh - just try to imagine what a man would do in your situation! Roll Eyes Big Grin

PS - I bet your Mom was tickled to see and feel the baby kick! Big Grin

Megan forgets to tell that there are so many things going on in her life right now, she'd probably be crying if she wasn't pregnant. Roll Eyes Her car broke (don't think it can be fixed) she has school, work (which she's trying to get as many hours as she can to afford this baby), her dad and I just seperated and we are living in different houses (break ups are always hard on kids, I don't care how old they are) now her dad is very sick and in intensive care at the hospital, the dogs are even fighting and her mother is an emotional mess right now. So, all that with being pregnant too, I think you are doing pretty alright Megan. Wink
