Blue, sounds like your name is really fitting right now. The infamous 'blues'. It's very common among teenagers. Fortunately, they don't usually last long. However, if it seems to become a long period of time, (more then a few weeks) you should seek some sort of counsleling. Could be a school councelor, teacher, paster, neighbor...parents...anyone. Just don't keep it to yourself. I give this link a lot, but it's awesome. You can talk and learn about things, and never say who you are. Give it a try, I think you'll like it. Keep us posted, Blue. I love your personality and spirit. http://www.girlsandboystown.org

Sounds like you are depressed. It happens to the best of us sometimes.. and sometimes for no apparent reason. You are a teenager, teens have huge hormonal changes that contribute to mood swings. Weather can also contribute toward blue feelings (if you will pardon the pun). Having the blues is normal and sometimes you just need to let yourself feel them. The best way to fight depression, aside from medications and therapy is to pamper yourself. Change your appearance, get a haircut, get a make-over. Make a change in your routine, do someting that you enjoy. Here is a website with additional information.

BlueJewel - I can't offer any advice that's much different from what's been said, but I wanted to reassure you that this isn't weird and that a lot of teenagers go through the same thing. That doesn't mean you should just accept it. The most important thing you can do is talk to someone about it. This can be a friend, a family member, or someone more professional like a counselor, psychiatrist, priest, rabbi, minister, etc. Channeling your feelings into something can also be helpful (meditation, a hobby, writing, art).
