I came across this clip on YouTube this morning, and thought I'd share it with you.
I'm sure the Brits have already heard of them, but it was the first time I had seen them. They seem to be really enjoying themselves, and what an eclectic repertoire they have!

One good thing that may come of this.Some schools here have taken to teaching the ukulele in preference to the dreaded treble recorder.It's a bit easier to play initially. Granted that advanced students won't find any Vivaldi written for it, but what the heck?

My own school switched from the recorder to the harmonica.Worried parents thought that we were being prepared to play in the trenches at the Somme again. They were a confused lot.Me , I worried that my parents would sell me to Morton Fraser's Harmonica Gang(well,Morton Fraser always employed one midget, and at nine years old...)

AND they were on Richard and Judy..how much more highbrow can you get than that?
I'm rather disappointed you didn't bring the Ukulele Orchestra to my attention before now.
