Coverband.....Um?
A coverband in the UK is also known as a tribute band The most Populous being the Beatles SmileAnd all they play are Beatles tracks in the Original style (soundalikes)
Often called something like...the Beetlz. The bootleg Moptops
Just to keep up the theme and some even look the part dressed up
Some other tribute bands:
Queen
Pink Floyd
Abba
Rolling Stones
Check out this list(only 1 agents acts) Quite long? Click on the blue Buttons to see publicity shots (uncanny likeness?)

These aren't tribute bands though. These are original bands that a tribute band may do cover songs of. And a cover band isn't necessarily the same thing as a tribute band. Cover bands cover any songs, as Georgia's link says. And tribute bands cover songs from one band.

Australian Pink Floyd

"The Aussie Floyd received the ultimate endorsement in 1996, becoming the only Floyd tribute band to be asked to perform for a member of Pink Floyd, namely David Gilmour's 50th birthday celebrations in London At DG's 50th birthday party"

"At DG's birthday, the APF were joined on stage by Richard Wright and Guy Pratt, for a rousing rendition of Comfortably Numb. They then happily handed over their instruments to David Gilmour, Richard Wright, Guy Pratt, Tim Renwick, Gary Wallis and Claudia Fontaine, and were treated to renditions of 'Money', 'What do you want from me', and various other jams, much to the delight of the other party guests." - Aussie Floyd.com

Bedstor, I particularly liked, "The Cheatles"...did you ever come across that band? And, incidentally, if you like Steely Dan then go and see "Nearly Dan"; better than the real thing, and I mean that quite seriously!

Ah, I see they are listed on your site...sorry.
