XTC is an interesting group. They started their amusing alternative rock around the mid-70s, into the 80s and early 90s. They're still around, but don't seem very active with albums (only released a few recently). Old school alternative fans probably know them well. Here are three XTC songs that I like (in order that I like them kind of). All three are from the 1979 album Drums & Wires. All three are live, but they're still clear and fun. Scissor Man is at Cal-Davis University Campus, Davis, California on February of 1980, and Helicopter and Making Plans for Nigel are at Berg en Bos, Apeldoorn, Netherlands on August of 1980. Enjoy.
I like Helicopter the best. It has a really good beat. Making Plans for Nigel and Scissor Man are tied for second place. Both are okay but not as good as Helicopter.

BTW, if you want to hear a really good remake of "Making Plans for Nigel", check out Primus' "Miscellaneous Debris". It also has a great re-do of "Have A Cigar".
Ahaha! I think Devil Went Down to Georgia is the only cover I've heard by Primus. I had a feeling they'd be a treat though. I was entertained. I especially liked Making Plans for Nigel. Good stuff. Thanks, Cincy.
And I tried a little bit of that XTC song, as well. Pretty enjoyable.
I had a feeling for some reason that you were probably an XTC fan. I was wondering when you'd come in.
