I have a book called “I Never believed in Ghosts until...” It’s a book with many stories of where people have seen ghosts. I’ve read this book many times and I would like to find other books like this one with lots of ghost stories in them.

I tied finding some online but haven't found any like this one. About all I find are ones where the author tells the stories. I’d like to find one that has many in it from all kinds of different people. Do you know any books like the one?

More about the book above:
“I Never believed in Ghosts until...” By USA WEEKEND. 100 of the most spine-tingling ghost stories collected from USA WEEKEND readers across America.

Hi Pace-Ace,
I don't know the book you mention, but one way to find other books with the same theme is to go to Amazon.

If you scroll down here you will see a list of other books that people who purchased "I never believed in Ghosts until.." also bought.

The one that sounds closest to that to me is "The Ghost Next Door: True Stories of Paranormal Encounters from Everyday People" by Mark Allan Morris ( Amazon Link ).. On that Amazon page are links to other similar books, which likely will lead you to more. Good luck and happy reading.

You might also want to try "Earthbound : Conversations with Ghosts" by Robert H. Coddington. It is written based on the experiece of the paranormalist author and his wife. Though by the author, it is an interesting and different look at the phenomenon.

I use a book at work called "Genreflecting."
It's really helpful for finding books when someone comes into the library and says, " I have read all of this author's books, is there anyone similar you would recommend?"

Anyway, Genreflecting has a web site, and I emailed them yesterday. I got their reply today, and they suggested you try the following:

"Ghosts Among Us: True Stories of Spirit Encounters" by Leslie Rule:

"The personal, firsthand reports and chilling, full-length stories are bolstered by sidebars of actual accounts of "Ghosts in the News." Each chapter explores mysterious events-events that the reader will find hard to pass off as mere coincidence. In her quest to uncover explanations for each incident, Leslie Rule extensively researched library archives and interviewed credible witnesses, historians, renowned psychics, and parapsychologists."

"Real Ghosts, Restless Spirits, and Haunted Places" by Brad Steiger:

"Real Ghosts, Restless Spirits, and Haunted Places" is one of the finest compendiums of ghost stories I have ever seen. In fact, I doubt that it would be possible to find a book that features more information on the best known reports of a haunting, along with lesser known reports published for the first time. Along with the stories, Steiger furnishes many of the techniques employed by modern paranormal investigators. This information is simply missing from most other collections of ghostly tales and helps the reader understand the current theories and approaches investigators have in this field."

Both these books are on the Amazon link I gave you previously, and the quotes in italics are from their reviews.
I hope this is of some help

You might also try looking for a book about ghosts in your area. According to your location, it says Kentucky. There could very well be a "Ghosts of Kentucky" book. I have 2 of those type books. One for Oregon, where I live, and another for California. They tell you about all of the haunted places in your state. Very intriguing.

Check out the amazon page here. There are alot of books about ghosts in Kentucky.

Check out your library too. That is where I originally found the Ghosts of Oregon book before I bought it. And also read a book about ghosts in the Pacific Northwest.
