3 c. sugar 1 c. evaporated milk 1 stick butter 2/3 c. smooth peanut butter 1 c. flaked coconut 24 Saltine crackers, crumbled 1 tsp. vanilla
Combine sugar, milk, and butter in a large saucepan. Bring to full boil over moderate heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 4 minutes. Remove from heat and add peanut butter, coconut, crackers, and vanilla. Stir until well mixed. Pour into buttered pan and chill. Cut into squares.
