My neighbor just brought over cookies that were awesome all she did was replace the oatmeal with crushed up (by hand) cornflakes in a basic oatmeal cookie recipe...mmmmm best cookie I ever had...oh she added chocolate chips to it too.

This idea opens up some possibly interesting variations. I suppose one could use frosted flakes (They're Gr-r-reat!), Honey Nut Cheerios, the various Chex cereals (some frosted, of course ), strawberry flavored cereal, and others.
