I could really use some help. I wanted to make some chocolate and white chocolate candy lollipops for my husband's coworkers but I can't find any recipes to make the mixture. Is there anyone who can help?
I would also like to add flavorings to the chocolate like almond and mint.
Thank you, Rainmaker
p.s. I understand this requires candy molds and lollipop sticks. I just would like a recipe or recipes for the mixture to put in the molds. Thanks again. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 12-03-03, 10:18 AM Georgia85 Rainmaker, all the recipes I've come across basically say the same thing....melt the chocolate, pour into molds, insert sticks, and let cool. No brainer huh?
As for using flavors, always use oil based. And a little goes a long way! Add approximately 1/4 teaspoon oil-based flavor to one pound of melted chocolate. Never use alcohol based flavorings; they will cause coatings to harden. Never use water based extracts either.
I did find this site which tells should give you some ideas on what you can do with the chocolate:
