1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1/4 cup honey
1 egg yolk
1 & 1/2 cup flour
1 teaspon baking powder

In large bowl combine sugar and butter until creamy, add egg yolk and honey, continue beating until well mixed. Reduce beating speeed to low and add flour and baking powder, beat just until mixed.

Divide dough in half, wrap each half in plastic wrap and refrigerate about an hour.

Heat oven to 400.. on a lightly floured surface roll out dough, 1/2 at a time (keep other half in frige til ready to use) roll to 1/8 in thickness. Cut out using cookie cutter or bottom of glass. Place 1 in apart on cookie sheets amd sprinkle with sugar or decorators sugar.

Bake 7-12 minutes or until edges are slightly brown. Cool for 1 minute before removing from sheets, cool completely before adding icing if desired. makes 2 dozen cookies Smile
