I am looking for a recipe for date nut rolls that require no baking. Mixture will probably cooked in a pan and then molded, then eaten. The one my wife needs, was mixed, rolled in cheesecloth and refrigerated. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Johnny,
Here's one I found on the web that looks real easy.

DATE NUT ROLL

2 C. crushed vanilla wafers
2 C. chopped pecans
1 (8 oz.) box chopped dates
1/2 C. sweetened condensed milk
1 T. water

Combine first 3 ingredients. Stir in milk and water. Mix thoroughly. Roll into 1-inch diameter logs. Seal in foil. Refrigerate overnight.

Slice logs into 1/4-inch pieces.
