1 ½ cups flour 2 tsp baking powder ¾ tsp salt ¾ cup milk
Mix all ingredients. Drop by teaspoons full into simmering soups or stews. For chicken and dumplings boil a chicken until it nearly falls off the bone. Debone it, season your broth to taste, chop the chicken into bite size pieces and put back in pot, bring to simmering and drop the dumplings in. For chicken and dumplings double this recipe.
