Does anyone have a recipe for a cookie called church windows?
I have one for stained glass windows, but it is a sugar cookie type recipe using jelly for the glass.
The one I want is a chocolate cake like cookie using colored marshmallows as the window??? S.O.S.

No-Bake Church Window Cookies
Church Window Cookies
* 1/2 cup butter or margarine * 12 ounces chocolate bits * 1 cup nuts, chopped * 10 ounces colored marshmallows * 14 ounces flaked coconut
Instructions: Melt butter and chocolate bits over low heat. Allow to cool slightly. Stir in nuts and marshmallows. Spread coconut on wax paper. Divide chocolate mixture into two rolls. Roll in coconut. Place in refrigerator for 24 hours. Cut in 1/2-inch slices.
DO NOT BAKE!
Makes about 4 dozen slices. You could also put in a mold and set in refrigerator.
These sure sound yummy, I'm putting them on my Christmas cookie baking list. Smile
