2 c. butter
3 c. brown sugar
4 unbeaten eggs

Cream butter and sugar together then add eggs, one at a time.

2 lb. dates
1 1/2 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. white raisins
3 slices candied pineapple
1 lb. walnuts
1/2 lb. blanched almonds
1/2 lb. Brazil nuts
1 tbsp. vanilla
5 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp.baking soda
1 c. evaporated milk

Sift dry ingredients together but save 1 cup of the flour mixture to mix with fruit and nuts. Add flour to creamed mixture, Add fruit and nuts; mix well,only Brazil nuts may be cut in half, leave other nuts whole... Mix in large bowl, drop my tsp onto greased cookie sheet
Bake 13 minutes at 400 degrees.
