Holiday Fruitcake Cookie Bars (no bake)

3 Tbsp butter or margarine
1 bag miniature marshmallows
3 cups graham cracker crumbs (fine)
1 jar merichino cherries, drained
1 cup pecans (chopped)
1 tub mixed fruitcake fruit

In a large pot, melt butter on low heat, add 1/2 of the marshmallows. Stir until melted, then add the remaining marshmallows, stir until they are melted. (do not walk away from this to prevent burning) Remove from heat, add crumbs, then the remaing ingredients. It will be very hard to stir so use something sturdy like a wooden spoon. Press and pack firmly into a buttered oblong baking dish. Chill 1 hour. Cut into squares and serve.

*Disclaimer! Big Grin Wink These are highly addictive, so I do not know how many this will serve. It is hard not to eat them all.
